レンタカーの確保も、大変だったようですね。

と、レンタカーのデスクのヤツ。
ちょっとって、５～１０分か。
いや、これが・・・３０分、いや１時間になるのね・・・
日本と同じ感覚では、やってられません。
ようやくと手続きを終え、車両のキズチェックをクソほどやって、
って、やる必要ないくらい、キズだらけなんですけどね。
やっと、ストリートへ。
右側通行と、エジプトの公道運転レギュレーションに、ドキドキです。
ま、僕は運転じゃなかったけど・・・
まず、信号無いですからね。
右折か、Uターンのみです。
で、ストレートの、所々に出現する、凸。これに注意。
おお、よく見りゃ、凸の標識がちゃんとあるじゃないか。
最初は様子見ですからね。よーパッシングされました。
「いいかげん、じゃかましい！」
と、クラクション鳴らそうと思ったら、
「鳴らない・・・」
武器がひとつ足りない気分です。
カイロほど、交通量が多くないので、まだ平和ですけど、
やっぱり隙間があると、ノーズを入れてきます。
うーん。
そんなこんなで、ホテルに到着。
後発組とも合流でき、チェックイン。
ホテルの部屋は、いい感じです。
さて、腹へった・・・
夜も更けていたので、ルームサービスというか、
ピザの出前を頼みます。
・・・
ええ。頼みましたとも。
ピザが到着したのは、１時間半後くらいでしたけども。
ついでに、しっかり、冷えてましたけども。
おまけに、おつり分の金も持ってきちゃあいない。
じゃあ、ってんで、こっちの部屋の後に、
もう一部屋の日本チームのとこへ行くのは知っていたので、
おつりの分は、あっちの料金から引いといてくれい、と、頼み、
あっちの部屋に連絡を入れておきます。
絶対、ごまかすと思ったので。
そして、あっちの部屋に電話を入れて、大丈夫だったかと確認しますと、
配達のヤツが計算できないようだったので、
こっちのおつり分以上の金額を引いて、少なめに払っておきました、とのこと。
お見事！
油断していると、すぐカモッてくるヤツらですから、いいんです、たまには。
カチカチに冷えてたし。
ああ、
ついでに、コンビニみたいなとこでビール買ったら、
なんか、とてもライトな味わいだった。
すると、電話がかかってきて、
「酔ってますか？」
と、問われ、
「いや、飲み始めたばかりだし。なんか、軽いねこのビール」
「ハイ。ノンアルコールですから！」
ガーン。
「上の棚のは、ノンアルコールだから、これしかビールないよ」
と、自ら手にとって買ったビール。
よく見りゃ、
ノンアルコールって、こっちのも買いてあるじゃん・・・
全然酔えん。
酔った気分で、
寝た。
ちっともカートに話しが出てこんな。
まあ、いつものことか。
